It happened before

Just thought just me pushing wrong part of steering wheel

So after working it out it was the CENTRE of the steering wheel to push (Toyota logo) and it worked - next time I know...

Warm Sat and driven a few miles, saw a friend cross road - RIGHT, let's beep him!

Car stationery, I pushed several times from touch to hard push and NOTHING! :(

Other night

Cold, just set off and no harm.

After driven a while and HORN WORKED!

Parked up, still work

Ignition off - worked.

Back in car, works

Ignition on, works

Drive off, works

Anyone know the reason for not working?

Thanks

Think the horn will be behind the lower grille at the front - fault is possibly due to water or dampness getting to the connections. Could be as a result of the tremendous depth of snow up in Yorkshire ....

Lol

No snow in here

But it was like that when I bought it last HOT summer ;)

Might be a faulty relay Wayne, check the fusebox undr the bonnet there's usually some relays in there if you find one for the horn try switching another one with it and see if it works any better.

for some reason I am reminded of the story about the chap who had difficulty getting it up so he went to see a hypnotist who said he could put him under a spell to help him. he said every time you say toot it will go up and every time you say toot-toot it will go down. It'll cost you  £500 but it will only work three times. Our hero says OK, pays the £500 and gets the spell. He tries it before he leaves, toot and it goes up, toot-toot and it went down.

So he hurries home and says to his wife "the bedroom darling". He goes through first and decides to check it's still working and says toot. it works OK so he says toot-toot and down it goes. Then his wife walks in and says "What's all this toot toot-toot business  about?"

Aye the old ones are best!!!!!!!!!!!.

Last year I was offered a free winter check by my dealer, and this included a choice between a free scraper or a free large can of de-icer. Had the winter check done and received both the scraper and the de-icer foc.

You won't get either o them Wayne, Just because Frosters got freebies doesny mean you can do it. He’s quick to spot an opportunity* that one, he probably knows every comma in their T & C’s as well as the Sale of Goods Act and then the threat of exposure on the TOC forum. Sorry buddy, you havn’y got that kind of clout. That, plus the fact you're bad enough without drink. :biggrin::biggrin:
