Aygo starting in cold weather

Got a Aygo last month 62 reg(2nd facelift) . Wife states when starting engine sometimes cuts out after a second or so and has to start again. is there a starter issue with aygos or was this earlier models. I know I put cold in title but could it just be this or something else. thanks

Maybe she isn't keeping the key turned to the start position for long enough. Releasing the key a moment too early will cause a non start situation.
