i have rav4 d4d  2005 when facing down hill it cuts out at quarter of tank in tank fuel pump ok just wondering if sender unit on drivers side of tank if corroded would it send wrong signal still approx 12 to 15 litres in tank when it happens fine facing up hill or on flat only when facing down hill on quarter a tank

any one had this problem was fine till star radiators repaired slight leak in tank as if it does not recognise fuel in drivers side of tank and only recognises fuel in passenger side of tank as tank is separated into two to go over propshaft

Then surely you take it back to the garage in question and point out that since they worked on the tank the fuel sender hasn't worked and ask them to sort it?

my mate took it while a was on holiday garages all cons got your cash dont want to no the usual way them avalon
