Yaris mk3 suspension adjustment

Hi all,

I am looking for some advice regarding the suspension on my mk 3 yards d4d. I am starting to get weary of the bouncy suspension on my car, when I am driving along the motorway or main roads. Anything other than very smooth roads causes the car to "jiggle". It is like a constant small jiggling that is annoying over many miles. I have adjusted tyre pressure to try to reduce or remove it but with no effect. As I spend 15-20 hours a week commuting I think I need to make some sort of adjustment (I don't think the stock suspension can be adjusted, but are there rubber mounts, etc that could be fitted as extra damping??) or update to an after market suspension.

Any one got opinions or experience of this issue and any fixes? I have read car reviews and they describe the mk3 as "easily unsettled" over anything less than perfect tarmac so I guess this is a feature of the car. I am just looking for a smoother ride as I sometimes feel nauseous by the time I get to work with the constant jiggling.

Thanks,

Sounds to me like you could do with new shocks. If it was me I'd get a set of shocks and springs from a t sport from a low mileage write off. That's a good upgrade without breaking the bank (or your spine ;))

Would the shocks and springs from a first generation Yaris fit a third generation?

I'm not sure, I'm new to the yaris and haven't done my suspension yet. Hopefully someone can answer. I know the back axles look different, but that's not to say the shocks and springs won't fit.
