Cruise Control use in Manual Mode.

Hello,

Are there any Toyota Technicians on here,

Our 2013 2.2 D-CAT auto has an annoying feature in that you can't have cruise control on whilst in manual mode.

The reason I want it to work in manual is that when you are cruiseing on the motorway in auto with cruise on and you need to go just a little faster to safely move out to a quicker lane just to pass something, it will always change down a gear and sometimes two when there really isn't any need as the gear it's in is coping perfectly well and being economical.

So when I'm anticipating a move out, I drop it in to manual to hold the top gear and it switches the cruise control off. !Removed! infuriating!!!!!!

So, can anyone tell me if it's possible to have the computer settings altered to have the cruise on in manual mode.

No it is not possible, it is not a customisable function.

Oh OK that's just annoying. Never mind at least I can stop thinking about it now.
