Prepaid Envlopes

Ive just found some, are they safe to use, can I pop them in the pilla box, or will Pat get upset?

Dunno. Prepaid is prepaid, but are they not pre-addressed too ? You can't really change the address if it says that Licencee will pay. ;)

Each prepaid envelope has a unique code I think for the company who are using them...

So you cant change the address on them or anything (unless they are blank?) as no, Pat will not be a happy postie!

You can buy your own prepaid envelopes from the Royal Mail website....

If they are completley blank except for a 1 or 2 indicating postage paid you can use them.

If they have any reference to a customer - for example a licence number you can't use them as they are only designed for use to the licence holder.

If you use a licenced envelope for mail not going to the licence holder the recipient will have to pay a charge for no postage - currently 99p.

Sorry thats a licensed envelope - the 5 digit number realates to a specific customer, it could 'slip through' but as I've said 99p for the person you are sending it to if it is picked up.
