Are the new style models better than the old?

Value? Not particularly compared to the equivalent priced TomTom.. the interface is OK but nothing outstanding...but the sheer overwhelming convenience makes it a no brainer if you want Nav in your car and can't be fussed with wires, suction cups and no charge when you need it in a hurry...... some have reported issues with its accuracy on journey times etc but I've never had a problem. If you are getting a new Aygo on lease or purchase I would be surprised if you couldn't negotiate it  as a  freebie.

I used to have a 2013 Aygo Fire, it was a great little car, although it was very loud on the motorway and had lots of interior shakes and rattles. This would be expected for the price though, It's still an amazing piece of work by Toyota.

Recently changed to a 2015 x-play. I love the new style, I think it stands out more, you get more features as standard (height adjustable drivers seat, speed limiter, steering wheel radio controls etc..)

I personally feel the x-plays suspension to be kinder on the bottom over small bumps and potholes, and on the motorway its a bit quieter.

Totally agree with you on the rattle front lol.

What's the X-play like for interior rattles? Does it feel a little less plasticky?

Will get round to checking one out myself at the next service. Not until December though.

Don't think anyone buys a factory fit sat nav for its value - it is more for having the convenience, and with some the look (ie not having a cable from the power outlet trailed over the dash), of a built in system.

I've not had the car long, but it seems fine so far, it does feel of a higher quality straight away.

My x-pression seems remarkably rattle free. The passenger seatbelt clonks against the door pillar if it’s not put back straight. But no rattles or squeaks from build quality so far. I’m not sure I would describe it as “less plasticky”… the door trim and dash plastic are particularly uninspiring.  My previous car an iQ had a much better quality interior – which made it relatively expensive .…. which eventually killed it. The Aygo has other attributes beyond the plastic the doors are made from that make it a great little car.
