Hi my 2004

corolla t sport has 91,000 on clock and lift is OK, just wondered do these bolts wear down overtime, I'm giving her a service over weekend and wondered off I should be changing these at all....?? If so where do you get them from as looked at Toyota parts online and u need a degree to work your way to the parts invantory to find the bolts.....

We've had plenty of people over the years having to replace them because they've snapped or something, but I don't know how common that is or whether it's worth pre-emptively replacing them...

I suppose it wouldn't hurt, so may as well if the parts are cheap and it's not much hassle!

Can't seem to find them for sale anywhere even on fensport...just read that they changed the design on 04 onwards so you don't need to replace them ??? So maybe u don't ???

I replaced these recently on my 2002 t sport and I found that they had been replaced with the later revised bolts and they had minimum wear so if you have a later 2005 onwards you should already have the revised bolts.

Toyota know them as lift flanges.

I replaced the lift bolts otherwise none as "phalanges" on my t-sport compressor i bought them from toyota for about £2 and fitted them in for £25 from a private garage, The old lift bolts had wear on them however i did notice the difference when in lift the engine was much more quicker and louder.
