New 2016 prius daytime running lights

I've just bought a 2016 Prius Excel in hypersonic red and think it looks fabulous except for the front daytime running lights. The rear ones are a great distinctivelooking shape but the front ones really let the car down in my opinion. I had thought they would be built into the beautifully shaped headlight cluster but they are just 3 round led's below the fog lights.  Does anyone agree with me that they look very ordinary for such a super looking car.

By "rear ones" I thnk you mean tail lights, DRLs are only on the front of vehicles.

If you put the light switch to the side light (AKA parking lights) position, between headlight and auto, you will get the rear tail lights on and the front sidelights (parking lights) which are built in to the headlight and are quite bright white in colour (not sure if they're LED) if that's the effect you're after.

I'll certainly give that a try. Yes I did mean the rear tail light which I assume is the long curved red strip looking like a continuation of the rear spoiler. I just felt the front drls looked very ordinary when comparing them to those on the likes of Kia, Hyundai, Leeds, Audi etc.
