Need Camry Help

I have a 1990 Camry. It is binding and making a loud popping noise when I turn the car, but only when it is rolling. I have already replaced both drive axles and the sound is still there. I am suspecting the differential.

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the differential from the transmission without removing the trans. from the car?

UPDATE: I also have now replaced the rack and pinion steeering unit (it was leaking) But the binding and popping problem still exists.

Any ideas? :help::help:
