Hi guys, my Toyota corolla t sport is the dark grey model and I need bit of advice, the wings are a nice shiny paint but when u pop the bonnet the inner edge of the wing inside the engine bay is a dull coloured grey are they supposed Tobe like this are have both wings been sprayed, just curious as I can find no signs of a spray job, this is my first Toyota so wondered off there like this from factory, like a Matt grey sort of, need help to put my mind at rest..thanx

Are you sure the bits under the bonnet are not just dirty? No sign of any other repairs?

Its normal, it looks like they do not spray the insides with the clear top coat,   though I wonder if its an additional matt coat to protect against all the volatile products that are used in the engine bay ?
