2008 Diesel Avensis started smoking

Hello All.

My 2008 avensis has started smoking excessively in the last few days especially when its on boost. I seen a similar thing happen my old focus before and was caused by one of the pipes between the intercooler and the inlet plenum split. Has anyone seen this happen with this model avensis before? Or could this be something else? I am hoping its a pipe that easy to get to but having a look at it this evening I don't think there is any pipe that is easy to get to .

Thanks for any help or pointers that anyone can offer.
