re-new oil or not

Hi

I serviced the car last year with all genuine parts and oil done around 500+ miles maybe.took a seizure and can't drive until September 2016.ive just been out idling the car and revving it once it's up to temperature.im looking to know will I need to change the oil since its been sitting around for a year??

Sorry to hear about your situation Frank. 

If you have only just stopped using the car, then the oil should be okay. During the warmer period, there should be less condensation.

Otherwise I would change the oil in September to be certain.
