I just replaced a driver side window as the glue from the clip gave way.  After installing the new window I noticed it doesn't stay seated all the way back in the track of the door and travels inward a bit when rolling up.  My guess is one of two things..  either a) the window regulator was bent while the window was rolled up with a broken tab or b)  I actually have to do adjustments for this window cause it isn't fitting quite like the first one did.  I have found adjustment procedures but I can't make sense of them.  Maybe this has something to do with the fact this car is second hand and some hardware may be removed?  If anyone has experience with this I would appreciate any advice.  Thanks in advance!

Here is the directions to adjust the upper side of glass in and out.

If any of these conditions is not met, adjust the glass as follows:

  1. Upper side of the glass-in and out-Remove the two lower plate bolts and lower plate.
  2. Adjust the glass by turning the setting nut. Reinstall the lower plate and tighten the bolts to 69 inch lbs. (8 Nm).
  3. In case the glass doers not fit the mirror bracket, loosen the lower nut of the bracket.
  4. Using a hexagon wrench, adjust the mirror bracket to the in/out position by turning the stud bolt. Tighten the bolt to 69 inch lbs. (8 Nm).

Is this the bolt on the regulator then?  (I don't seem to have the Lower Plate they are mentioning here)

Below is the diagram to adjust the windows the way the arrow suggest.  By the diagram, are the adjustment bolts inside the door?  I couldn' t find these.
