Reverse sensors access

2005 Avensis T Spirit.

I have had fitted a set of third party reverse sensors (Dolphin) that were fitted by a home visit engineer. I have no reason to have any problems with the standard of fitting. Unfortunately the sensor control box has developed a fault and needs to be replaced. I have the necessary part together with a new buzzer which must also be replaced.

Unfortunately, I was not around when the sensors were fitted, so didn't watch how access was gained inside the rear bumper. I suspect though the bumper was not removed to complete the job. I am told the guy who did it took less than an hour to do the job..

Just inside the lower hatch-back there is a central plastic moulding, that seems to be held in place with the bolts that fix the two luggage tie-downs in place. Would I be right in thinking that this is the way to gain access to the sensor assembly?

This is the third set of Dolphin sensors I have had fitted, up until now they have worked perfectly.
