Nothing out of the ordinary really...

Check for a leaky T-Bar roof and the tracking is prone to being knocked out by large potholes, so make sure it feels right (steering wheel doesn't judder, and the car stays nice and straight under braking).

The cambelt, if not done already, will cost a fair bit.

Yeah I'll try and make it down as long as I have a fully-functional car - The money I've had to hang on to for car-related stuff means I've been staying in alot. I could do with getting out the house even if only for an hour or two!

I went to Guildford the other week... It was alright actually!

Check for usual stuff - signs of damage/respray, take it for a good drive make sure it doesnt overheat... fans work properly, aerial and all electrics work OK... including lights

Also check oil cap and oil dip-stick before and after a test drive...

Leave it running for a few minutes after a drive again checking the temp...

Check that the heaters work ok.... oil leaks from getting under the car.

And most importantly check out the paperwork properly match service records with previous MOT's if it has them - and dont forget to Hpi the car.

Hope that helps.

Rash.
