Yaris alloy wheels

I have 2011 Yaris wheels all 4 pitted . Dealership said toyota will  not replace just out of warranty by 1 month at time of inspection. Has anyone had same happen

Pitting may not be the result of corrosion - could be from external damage.

Surely the pitting would have been obvious whilst the car was still within warranty - why leave it until after the warranty had expired?

When I got rid of my 2011 Yaris. alloys still like new. Low mileage though. As has been said, these things don't happen quickly. Regards.

As soon as I saw the pitting I went to garage. My car only has 19000 miles on. I also have another yaris 2008 and the wheels are perfect on that one

Perhaps this car has been on a lot of salted roads. Could make a difference. Regards.
