Sorry. Bit of a daft question but until I find a owners manual for my car I am stuck.

There is an amber switch next to the electric mirror control. It show 3 upward pointing wavy lines

Can anyone tell me what it is ?

I may be wrong, but AFAIK this is an electric power heater to be used while engine is cold (but to be honest I didn't notice much difference with or without using it).

 

The mirror defroster is coupled with the rear window one and they use the same button above the head unit.
