That would be new to me. If I. Want dealer to change Battery it has been at my request. Charge has been £4.  I do it myself now but use decent batteries.... those with the little furry animals jumping about long after other batteries have expired are usually good.

Got the low Battery fob warning on our Prius. Battery was 30 months old. To be on the safe side I had both fob batteries changed at the dealers. Cost £15. Took less than 15 mins for the batteries to be changed. At the 2 year service the dealer did not mention changing the fob batteries.

If you have a service plan and/or extended warranty see if your dealer will Battery swap anyway instead of waiting until the service.
