I'm after a personal reg plate but it's been issued. I'm keen to find out who it belongs to and make an offer on it! Any ideas on how this can be done?

Only if you want to end up inside though. Data protection act says you can't do that. Even the police have limited access to the database

You could try placing an ad in a national publication and hope they or someone that knows them reads it.

My mrs works in the dvla. They cant give you the details as Kelvyn says.

She suggests that you try one of the number plate agencys they can get the info somehow???
