Boot sill protector

My 09 Avensis tourer has the boot sill scratched and I'm looking for a self adhesive protector for it. Research so far has come up with one from RGM which looks good but so it should be at £52.95! I don't minding spending that amount as cheaper than a re spray but wondered if there was anything as good for less money.

 What you need is 'helicopter tape'. It's available online. This is an example:-

But that said - as it's see through you'd probably need to get a respray first.

We have a RGM on the Auris . been on now for 4 years , has started to fade but comes back with back to black still looks good with the dog in and out . Just fitted one to my sons Fabia as well

got the brushed metal one on my Avensis.. and had the similar one on my old avensis..  it is suprising how much damage it saves.

Thanks to all those who took the trouble to offer assistance - I've plumped for the eBay version in black ABS plastic for £33 delivered. It looks identical to the RGM one but at a considerable saving. I'll report back on how I get on with it.

Further to my last post I purchased the ABS black plastic protector from eBay seller "trunkliner-boy" who operates from Germany on the 10th of May and it arrived today (Monday 16th May) for £33.16 including carriage and I'm very happy with it - it's well made and a perfect fit for the bumper and £19 cheaper than the RGM model.
