2002 Toyota Rav4 2.0 VVTi 4WD Clutch Replacement DIY

Hi,

I already have an open discussion on this forum where I am trying to get some help/suggestions on why my clutch wouldn't disengage. I think that I have exhausted pretty much all options now (brand new master and slave cylinders, system bled really well and the thing still wouldn't disengage - slave only moves about 17mm when pedal fully pressed).

I have the feeling that I'd need to remove the gearbox (unless anyone comes up with a suggestion of what is wrong with it?) and see what's going on inside the clutch!

The question is has anyone here done this exercise without lifting the car and willing to share the main steps? If possible I'll try avoiding dropping the whole lot but just separate the gearbox from the engine to inspect/change the clutch.

Many Thanks!
