Avensis D4D 2lt poor acceleration

Help,My avensis 2004 2lt D4D sometimes as nothing under foot ,You can put your foot to the floor and there's nothing there,slowly builds up speed(0-60 in 15mins) but at other times it's fine,so unpredictable

Iv'e cleaned the EGR Valve,made a little improvement but not a lot,I could do with some help

Clean your maf and see if that helps

Franc,you will never guess what the problem was,we found a disintergrated piece of rubber which is inside main intake to the turbo impeeding the impellor,looks like the last person to push it onto the turbo did,nt assemble it correctly,pulls great now only problem is now it's started to whistle
