My 2005 Avensis Estate D4D has to have its nearside airbag changed under this Toyota recall.  Does anyone know whats involved and how long it takes to do it.  I just hope its not one of these jobs where the whole dash board has to come out as in my past expereince this usually leads to more problems than you had to start with.

My 2008 is also awaiting an invitation for this latest recall. 

The air bag will be accessible from the void behind with the glove box removed? A full dash removal sounds like major work!
