When do you get this? If it's after starting from cold and for the first few minutes then it's entirely normal. What also has an additional impact is driving with the aircon from cold. This can affect the warm up revs a bit. 

The air con had a greater effect on the MK1 but it's still a consideration.

Are you driving when this happens? When was clutch last replaced?

It's only occasionally and its when its idling out of gear, just had the radio on
