Hi...a change of forums for me...coming out of a Celica.!...but I've just bought my first Japanese import as I wanted more long distance comfort in my retirement.

It's a 3 litre V6 Aeras G edition model and I get my hands on it again in about a week or so (it's going through it's UK registration/Mot process right now)

I've test driven it and has a lovely smooth and powerful engine with seamless gear changes..and is luxurious inside with 4 comfortable captain's seats.

More details/pics are on the Toyota MPV forum so I won't repeat them here.!...can't wait to get it.!!

So, Neil..now that you've had the spaceship for a few days, what are your first impressions?.

Have we got to start calling you "Captain Kirk"?

Ayup  Kev.....I wish..!!!...haven't even got me sweaty mits on it yet..the paperwork all came through about a week ago....but DVLA had cocked-up by inserting an incorrect VIN number on the V5...Grrr......so it's all had to go back again for correction and re-issue.

The vehicle is ready to go...it's just the DVLA I'm waiting for.

I hope....and it is only a hope..that I may just get to pick it up this coming week..but it all depends on DVLA so I'm not holding my breath,

You might guess that I'm a tad hacked off....I shall report in the fullness of time.
