Done my Centre Console/Dashboard over weekend Blue and Red.

I'm more into the Red myself!

Blue looks cool but doesn't go in my eyes with the Clocks being Red.

What's your thoughts?

Oh I'll be swapping the Head Unit at some point too. I hate the Green colour in cars!

Actually really like the blue personally and prefer it to the red. Of course it doesnt go with the dials, but perhaps its time to change those to blue too ;)

I know what you mean pal. My van is the new shape transit and all that's blue! I really like it. I've got yellow too, didn't fancy it tho 👎. I might change back to blue once I get the head unit and can turn that blue too. 👍

Update on the Brakes.

Well it's been a nightmare. I ordered..

Brembo Standard Discs front and rear.

Ferodo DS Performance Pads Front & Starda 112 Rears.

Hel Brake Lines.

5.1 Motul Racing Fluid.

So far the Front pads are out of stock.. Even from Ferodo themselves!

Fronts are now Black Diamond Preadator Race pads.

Ordered the Rear Discs again from another company today because Opie Oils say Brembo are out of rears for T Sport. (got refund). Now I'm trying last place.

Eurocarparts are sending the fronts 2mrw so I defo need the rears now.

Fingers crossed all is good now!

Is the suspension from a compressor aswell? I'm sure I've seen that suspension  from a compressor will not fit on a standard T-sport.

Ha don't say that. I hope it does fit!

The cars are the same under neath so it should. If not I'll take the lowering springs off and just use them.

Not sure what sound you get off the compressor exhaust to a standard t sport. Probably the same I bet.

Do I need a fl bonnet?

They pretty much look the same. Even the curves on the end of the bonnets are the same!

I know about the lights. Got one already. Wheeler dealer me 😁

Well when purchasing my Eibach springs I    read that they wouldn't fit a compressor, also when looking at some Koni dampers on another site I read the same thing.

I think that exhaust will sound the same, personally I'm not a fan of that Toyota twin exhaust on a non compressor car, should have gone custom.

Really. I'll let you know how I get on! 1st thing is to get these brakes done. Just waiting on the rear Strada pads to turn up!

With the exhaust... I agree! Only got it because it was really cheap. With my last car being an Impreza any car with an exhaust I got wouldn't sound a patch to that. Hence why I'm not going custom. Here's how it sounded before I sold her!

Sounds 😎

Did you ever manage to get those Ferrodo pads? I have MIntex pads and after a very hard drive they seem to fade badly, to the extent I almost have no brakes!!

Cheers fella 👍

No I didn't. The 3 places that I ended up speaking to all said ferodo wasn't making them for the t sport anytime soon. So I've gone for Black Diamond Predator Race pads for the front instead. I've got mintex pads and grooved discs at the minute, and mine do the same. Good for normal braking but pants when used hard. Hence my swap. It's a minefield though with brakes for our car. Everybody says different 😯

Brake update.

DON'T NOBODY USE LK PERFORMANCE!!!!!

I ordered my rear brake pads off these  (first time I've used them).

Took my money but heard nothing for two weeks. Rang 3 times in one day because they never rang me back! Then told no rear strada pads in the UK they're coming from Italy. Told them I want a refund... said 48hrs I will get one. Guess what I've got it......5 days later. Shocking!!! AVOID PEOPLE

Cars booked in for 10-10:30am Saturday for the Brake overhall with my mate who Specialise in Toyota's!

Trouble is I do about 20 miles a week. Tops! Gonna take months to wear the pads in right. 😁😁 bugger

Several 70-20 hard brakes, with some time between to let them cool should help with that a bit.

Had the brakes overhauled on Saturday. I even got stuck in! First time I've done brakes on a car (swapping discs n hoses). Loved it!

Being honest I've only 55 miles. And 47 of that was going for a drive with the Mrs and our 5yr old son ha. Not really tested them yet. Wanna get a least 100-150 miles in first. The old ones were a state tho. Loads of pad left but really rusty. One pad had came off while still attached to the car. So lucky really. Here's some pictures. STILL NEED TO PAINT THEM WHEN I'VE GOT TIME..

Set up now is...

Brembo Discs all round, Predator Race Pads all round, Hel Hoses and 5.1 racing fluid.
