i originally bought these for an aygo we had a few years ago they came off a rover 75

there's a high tone and a low tone horn ,the horns fitted have the plastic trumpet, you cant

see them as they are facing the radiator

i am sure people would take notice of these horns ,any car with high and low tone horns fitted will work

just make sure to take some wiring with the horn plugs as it makes installing so easy.

to connect to the original horn connector use a 15a male spade connector.

below is a picture of the type of horn i have used

I did the same years back on an old Astra Mk1. I fitted Opel Manta horns replacing the the dead single horn. I had to fit a relay, since the horn did not work unless the engine was running. It was a massive improvement. I then used the same setup on a Mk3 Cavalier.

My old Mk1 Avensis had decent horns and the Mk3 Avensis is the same with identical sound.

If I change to Auris with the pitiful single horn, that will be the first upgrade.

Hi eygo. Thanks for the post, very helpful and just what I was looking for.

Did you have to put in a relay or is it just swap over?

no i didnt ,i replaced them with twin horns off a rover 75 from a scrap yard.

Bosch horns are 50w so 4A each the circuit will be protected by a 15A fuse

before a fuse blows it will go 50% over the rating.

if i where going to fit air horns then i would of fitted a relay.

Has anyone removed the grille on a 2015 facelift model as the grille seems to go under the headlights ? the top fittings seem the same as this guide but I am afraid to pull the bottom to hard in case I snap the grille
