Hi,

My driver's side rear lamp has moisture in it! It a Auris SR and was registered on 1st of September 2011. Will this be replaced under warranty? If not what's the problem with it?

I love this car but the build quality is nowhere near as good as my previous corolla SR ! The rear bumper rubs on the paint, rattle etc in the cabin!

On the upside it had the full leather interior, protection pack, twin sports exhaust, 17" Motorsport alloys all fitted when new, but no spare wheel !?

Thanks for your help

I was told my 2015 Auris lights aren't sealed units and will mist up now and again. Only noticed when washing it. Haven't seen it since.

I notice my front lights do that when the weather goes cold to hot! However my rear light is damp inside (driver side) but the passengers side is not. Is this covered by the warranty? Thank you

Can anyone help with this? I don't want to look silly if I take it to my nearest dealer for them to say it's not covered! Thanks

if you dont want to look silly then ring up a toyota dealer that you will never face and ask them for some advise

i am sure they would be able to say if its a part that is still covered,if it is then go to your local dealership.

here is a link with some contact details for toyota

Hi

Thanks for the advice. I have already contacted Toyota and they told me to go to my nearest dealer and they would investigate it. They couldn't answer me if it would be covered or not! Thanks

i suppose toyota would want to confirm there was no evidence of damage to the unit

which could contribute to the misting up of the lens.

In fairness I've never known a manufacturer commit to saying something definitely is or isn't covered by warranty until they've examined the problem first.
