Hi all have been on here before & everyone was amazing

Got a 2003 Rav 4 2.0 D4D diesel 3dr here in Greek islands (UK car) & the front struts have become quite knocky on an unmade road. On the open road the fronts a bit floaty so I think I defo need struts but whats everyones opinion on strut mounts, should I buy too (ouch ££££) or do they rarely wear??

Car's done 140,000 miles.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi stu,

Are you sure it is the struts making a noise and not the drop links, more often than not its the drop links that give you that rattley knock over rough surfaces and they are a lot easier and cheaper to replace than your front struts.
