Changing the air filter on a corolla 1.8 tsport

I have a custom air filter that I wish to install but I'm not sure how to bypass the MAF sensor?  Or simply just move it anyone got any suggestions?

Only way is to cut between the MAF and the airbox lid but I wouldn't! Either buy an induction kit that is specific to the T sport or keep the airbox, add a panel filter and add a cold air feed from the front bumper.

Before fitting my Apexi power-intake I had a HKS panel filter and ran a cold air feed down to the front grill, 2.5" is the correct diameter to fit into the airbox where the standard snorkel used to go.
