Traffic announcements

Is there an easy way to cancel an active announcement on a touch & go (Avensis 2012)? If I'm displaying radio stations selecting the station will do it but if using sat nav there doesn't appear to be a one touch override. Other cars I've had pressing the ta button once did the trick, twice & it turned the function off

Is this the same question that you posted 3 years ago to the day? You probably know that you can mute the whole system with 1 touch on the steering wheel but I don't know if there is a way to do similar just for TA as I've never had the need. If you haven't found it in 3 years perhaps it doesn't exist.

Probably although it's purely coincidence........but yes it's still bugging me. Basic oversight IMHO
