My friend is gutted after Mk2 TR Tourer written off.

Got a call from Waqar yesterday to say he was involved in a crash with a tired driver, who veered on to his side of the road. My friend managed to avoid a direct head on crash. He had some slight injuries, and his family who were with him are okay. That is the main thing.

He has not had the car that long and he loved it - Mk2 Avensis TR Tourer 1.8 2008, and it was perfect for him. He searched long for that car. 

Only recently I saw the car in person and have to admit, there is a lot to like about it, especially as it has a handbrake lever, unlike my electronic version. 

He is looking for another and of what I have seen, they are thin on the ground right now. I am looking around for him. I am not sure how much he will get from insurance for his budget.  

The main thing is that Waqar and his family are fine. Also be aware about driving tired!
