Buying An Estima

Hiya all,

I'm thinking of buying an Estima and would be grateful for any guidance.

In particular are there any dealers out there, (south coast prefered) who come recommended. The cars I have looked at vary considerably in price and spec, but I think I would prefer to buy a G spec model with an SVA done on it ( M or N plate). Is approx 5.5K a realistic price to pay?

Any help much appreciated.

There are plenty out there just take your time check all the specs and don't bypass the small dealers. I live in Cardiff and looked at all the bigger dealers in Bristol. M & N regs were £5500 - £7000 most places. Then by chance i was passing through Blackwood (small town ) and saw a small import specialist with about 5 Lucida/estima on his forecourt at very reasonable prices. From £3000 for j reg. I settled for a Estima Emina X-Lux (which was the spec i was looking for - 8 seater as opposed to the G spec 7 seater but has same spec as the G) We settled at £4500 with sva, full m.o.t ,new tyres, brake pads and service plus 12 months unlimited warranty. Very knowledgable guy very friendly and helpful. He was gobsmacked when I told him i had been considering the same model reg spec etc in bristol for £6995. So there are good deals out ther you just need to have a good look. I am very pleased with mine immaculate throughout nothing missing all the gizzmo's and drives lovely. Warranty is essential and gives you peace of mind.

P.S. Forgot it is a 96 n reg with airbag ,abs solarcool glass and everything else except curtains parking sensors and hot and cold box.

I know Blackwood well, I'm originally from Newport. If you have that dealers details I would be grateful, I still visit South Wales on a regular basis and would happily buy there if the deal is right.

There is also one dealer east of Hastings on the way to Tenterten always has about 10-15 there
