Satnav

I am a newbie to both this forum and being a Toyota owner. I have a niggle with the satnav; well I think it's the satnav. Every time I approach home I get a chime (listen to the attached mp3) is sounds like a speed camera warning. This would make sense as we have SPECS cameras on the approaching streets to our home. However as you can see I have these switched off in map settings and they don't sound at any other time. Any suggestions anyone?

The noise is definitely the speed camera alert ( on the latest map/software version ) the option you show will stop the navigation displaying the cameras on screen but not the audible warning ( I'm not sure the audible alert can be stopped )

Thanks for replying. The puzzle is why it's not chiming for other cameras?

Just to keep this topic updated. I have also noticed the despite the setting camera icons still appear on some maps. I am awaiting a response from my dealer. Looking at the law: as it stands I would have though that this was on the borderline in France and Germany.

There are no cameras shown in the picture just POI icons ?

Hmm I see I'm not used to the display yet. Thought the icon was a camera. Thanks. Stupid me now where do I put that stick to beat myself with ...
