What you need are some mirror shock absorbers!!

Usually kept behind the counter at Halfords, just ask for some and explain the problem

dont "jack" off in car then!

I suggest if you really need to, use big slow strokes instead of pumping away brutefully and fast - rending your mirro useless due to vibrations in car

That cant be right because we have a van at work with no rear mirror as it has no glass in the back door. I mean its pretty useless having one unless your paranoid of people hiding in the back of your van

In a Van these are the two door mirrors. Don't know if this translates to cars though, what with having a rear window etc.

Best bet is to go to an MOT station and ask them. They will know the requirement.

dont buy the shocks from Halfords theyll rip you off as per usual
