ok.. listen up..

this is what u do..

(i did that on my old hyundai and it worked like a charm)..

1) go buy yourself a nice ITX motherboard (not ATX) you can see those at www.mini-itx.com.. its a 30 cm motherboard with everything on it(fanless).

2) buy yourself a nice 5.5 lcd screen

3) install an opensource program called media engine on that motherboard

4) fill up ur HD with mp3's and off u go ... it supports voice recognition.. and/or mouse/keyboard/ir remote for computers

5) HAVE FUN! a good ITX motherboard should cost no more then 70 pounds..

pm me if u need any more assistance or wait about a week ... im starting it on my car so you will have lotsa pics and stuff bout it here

Chris - thats where it gets complicated LOL!

if you got a touch Screen and a mother board and a dvd drive (Old PC one)

You can watch movies, Have MP3's, Listen to cds, Watch DVDs, Play Games, everything you can do on a computer.

If you have even managed to conenct your pc to a GPRS phone, you can even surf the internet :D

in answer to his original question

take the output of the ipod and put it into the inputs on the head

use a !Removed! adaptor for power if needed

Yup there are PC104 like boards but they are too small and lack the power to be of any use.
