now, my question is, will these 2005 Corolla's rear lights fit without any problem?

I'm about 95% certain these would fit, and look a lot more modern?  found them in a scrapyard today as i was getting an electric window switch set for it, that was £10 (bargain i thought!)  and they want £30 for the pair of rear lights!  sounds another bit of a bargain too!

just went out to the missus' car to see how hard they are to take out, all seems ok, apart from this bit, at the top of the insert where the access panel has been removed, theres a plastic cable holder somehow connected to the top of the nut i need to remove to get that last retaining nut/bolt out to get the light out

Do the 2005/6 ones fit in your 2002 ok ?

You will find the 2006 type only have the offside fog light, though there is the bulb holder on the nearside, but it needs a bit of extra wiring to get it working, a mod  I did, easy enough.

Though not a problem I have had, they say the rear light clusters can let water in, so take care with the seals when fitting the new ones, perhaps a bead of silicone if the original seals do not look that good ?
