I'm new to this forum and hopefully i can get help from members. The reason i post this b/c i want to install an amp to my toyota camry 92. Since installing an amp we have to put that amp in the trunk so we have to run all audio ( input/output) and power supply from the receiver in the front to the back and i don't know how to run these wires. Does any one know how to run these wire please show me. Thanks !

Hi, welcome to the family...

is it an orginal headunit or aftermarket?

you need to remove the plastic trim and place the cables under there

Thank you for your replied. That's the after market head. I've just installed the Kenwood head and the 2 front pioneer Speakers but the sound does not sound strong enough to me and that's why i want to add an amp.

hi there!

youll need to run a fused power cable for the amp directly from the Battery and down to the boot

you will need and RCA phono lead to conect the amp to the reciever

a ground wire from the amp to a suitable point on the cars chassis/bodywork to earth the amp

Speakers wire to conect back to the Speakers

and a remote lead from the reciever that tells the amps to switch on when the reciever switches on (normally labelled as P.CONT or REM)

a commercially available amp wiring kit from a car electronics shop is the best way to go to ensure you have all the bits and pieces you require
