Amp Placement

Hi

Got an infinity amp which is currently screwed onto the back of the rear seats.

i am thinking of moving this as i might need use of the flat of the backseats so thus was thinking of making a fake floor, using velcro to tie the amp down onto the carpet. mdf wood to place ontop of the ampwith some grey/black carpet wrapped around, cut a hole where the amp should be and use (glass/perspex) to display the amp and maybe have some lights where the amp mite be so it shines through the window area.

2 questions now, would the amp be too hot running in that enclosure ?

and where do i get that type of window from and cut down to size ?

:help:

amp may be ok if its only a false floor but air is allowed to circulate around and out the sides from under the floor. poosibly use a couple of fans to rush it through a bit???

for the window just source some perspex from a hardware store like B&Q, dont use glass tho!

woo - cheers jaxx !

prob pop down homebase and get the mdf and perspex ...

hope this lil project doesn;t turn out too costly of craply !!!

i'll prob drill sum holes as well wich would be hidden with the carpet to let air ventilate ....
