Prius 2016

I know this has been raised before but .......

i am taking delivery of my new Prius excel on Thursday and am driving to Switzerland next week. Reading the e-manual, under the section about lane departure alert it states not to stick anything on the headlights.

Having spoken to my local dealer I was informed that because the car's beam is a low trajectory it doesn't need converters.

Having read other posts on TOC it has been suggested that this is incorrect as the headlights will stick kick to the left.

Anyone got a definitive answer and or do the French and Swiss police know that the new Prius doesn't need converters?

Hi just for future reference, should anyone read this.

I received an e-mail from Toyota UK in response to my query as follows:

Thank you for your email regarding your Toyota Prius.

Having looked into this, I can confirm that your vehicle  will not need the headlights to be adapted for driving within Europe as the vehicle is already built to European specification, this will be an automatic adaption.

I hope that this will assist in resolving your query.

Kind regards
