Hi all, new to forum and about to embark on buying a Verso, looking at the 2.0 D4D  TR from 2009-2011,having searched the forum, is it true that the early models 2009 -2010 did not have DPF's ?, rang round a few main dealers some say yes they had them others say no seems to be some confusion.

Is there anyway of telling wether a car has one or not ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi - my 2009 model doesn't have one - I found out by asking the parts man at my Toyota dealer and supplying the number plate. I'm not sure how you can tell generally.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply, i have done the same, rang 2 local dealers regarding a 2009 plate ,both say different, i suppose the ony way is to get under the car and have a look.

Thanks

I just purchased a 2010 plate verso 2.0 diesel without DPF. I think the way to tell is that if the plate is a 10 and not a 60 to indicate 2010 plate is no DPF. But double check with the service department or toyota customer service as i did.
