Cd player fault codes

My cd player will not accept a disk and comes up with fault code 1. Help!!

Seems to be either a problem with the CD (dirty, damaged, etc) or an internal issue with the player. Some have tried a lens cleaner with limited success - though Toyota usually recommend not to use these.

Have you tried disconnecting the Battery for a few minutes?

I had to do this when my verso DVD player failed to eject the disc, worth a try and can't do any harm.

I will try disconnecting the Battery once I have found the radio code.
