Oil Pickup Screen GLOGGED!!!

This is a warning to you all. If you see the oil pressure warning light flash or stay on until restart, this is the problem. Do not ignore, it will take one to two hours to fix.
The Oil Pickup Screen is GLOGGED.  A whole lot of engines have ended their life because of this, costing the owners needles money, better used in more fun things.

I assume its a Petrol as P0012 is a VVT-i Malfunction

P0012 Camshaft Position "A" - Timing Over-Retarded (Bank 1)

with the oil in such poor condition the sludge could well be blocking the oil flow to the VVTi controller causing the VVti code.

Can it be checked without the sump off?

This video shows the engine is similar. I assume it is the vvti ZZ engine, 1.6 or 1.8.

The reason why I changed the oil regularly on my old 7AFE leanburn. Then I have seen 'friends' who are not bothered about these services and when I checked the dipstick, it is covered in sludge! Those engines are Vauxhall and I know one engine broke on one car. I think the other car engine may have seized too.

Similar job of the Terraclean for the fuel system.

So there is a machine for the air-con, they might as have one for the coolant and the hydraulic system too. That would make things easy and the car would be in tip top condition.

The only thing is cost!
