Steering Wheel Leather

The leather steering wheel on my 2012 TR is has a shiny finish to it. Unfortunately, I caught part of it with the end of my key whilst getting out and left a slightly dull mark on the leather (it hasn't scratched it).

I was just wondering what the best form of treatment or protection will be for the leather - leather cream / food / restorer seems to harsh (more aimed at seats)and wipes might just end up with the wheel being too greasy. Can anyone recommend something - the owner's handbook just suggests mild detergent and water.

Thinking that something dedicated for leather might be better, as I want to protect from UV etc.

I use, Leather Conditioner & Restorer - The Ultimate Leather Protector by Leather Nova, not sure if it will hide the score mark.

You can purchase it from Amazon, it's about £13.
