auris brakes

hi guys .  im new to this so sorry if im posting in the wrong place.

ive had my auris for a couple of years now and had no major problems. however back a couple of months ago my mechanic change pads and disc on the front and back 

with new dot 4 oil.  Recently i've noticed that the brake pedal when very slowly pressed travels too far. i've had the brakes rebled and there wasn't any air in the system.

when the brakes are applied normally they work fine it is only when the pedal is pushed really slow , my gut feeling is master cylinder but i thought i'd ask if anyone else has had a similar fault and how they cured it before i start changing too many things
