2006 56 2.2 d4d cat and dpf

Hi all

can anyone tell me if the dpf and cat are part of the same section of the exhaust on a 2.2 d4d Corolla verso??

basically are the removable separately or do both need to come out at the same time??

i want to remove both eventually but want a de-cat soon and prob save up

for a dpf delete as its pretty pricey.

just need to know if this is possible.

Does no one know if cat and dpf are seperate or not??

if it's a 2006 2AD-FTV it probably doesn't have a DPF.

If it's a 2AD-FHV (177bhp) then it has a DPNR which is a bit more complicated than a standard DPF.

Ahh I did not realise there was differences between the 2.2 engines.

iv looked in log book and it has engine code as 2AD5143856

and max power (kW) it says 100

can anyone tell me what variation I have from this code on logbook??

Seems 100kw converts to 134bhp

does that mean the engine in mine is neither of the 2AD-FTV or 2AD-FHV??

I suspect that it's an FTV
