Hi, my wife and I have recently bought a demo Yaris with a plus/minus 9000 miles on the clock.  This is our second Yaris, the first, having completed just over 100,000 miles before we traded it in for the 2014, Yaris, 1.33. My previous Yaris was fantastic in that it never required the services of the local agents as I did all the servicing and repairs with the help of the Haynes Yaris manual.

My question is, I have found that there does not appear to be a manual covering the later models of Yaris and was wondering whether somebody can tell me when releasing the oil filter casing, having drained the sump, to access the filter element would require some sort of adapter, about 8 or 10mm to release it?

Looking forward for advice in this regard.

Dave
