Hi, came across the forum when looking for info about a fault on what is my wife's car. She has  Yaris 1.0 CDX bought new in November 2000.  It has been a fantastic car, even now only 63K on the clock.  The issue is that the odometer has started adding miles at 10 times the rate they are actually being travelled, everything else works fine, including the actual speedo. Car has been main dealer serviced. I repalced te hrear springs and shockabsorbers after an advisory note on the last MOT.

Sorry folks, wild goose chase.  I just drove the car myself.  After 16 years and 63K miles, you'd think my wife would know the difference between the main mileage readout and the trip meter "6.3" miles not 63!
