A newcomer into the Toyota World

Hello,

I'm normally a classic car girl, owning 4, however I have recently acquired a 1991 Toyota Carina 2 from an elderly gentlemen who said if I can get the car running after being sat for 9 years I can have it. Alas I did and here I am. It's in very good nick considering, with 37000 miles on the clock and full history, sales brochure, etc.

I want to improve the look of this car by adding a rear spoiler, does anyone know of one that will fit it? I don't mind adjusting if necessary. As I have only stepped into Toyota World, is there any other changes I can do to this car to improve it?

The car sounds great, with such low mileage.

If it were me, I would keep it as original as possible especially if you intend showing it or selling on as a classic. However, at the end of the day it is your car to do as you please. 

With regards spoilers , unless the spoiler is specifically designed by the manufacturer for the car, then personally I think all aftermarket ones look out of place.

What is your car - saloon or hatchback? There are a few with identical spoilers if you do a google image search. They tend to be quite small and discrete which is quite nice. Thsi suggests that there was a spoiler made for the car, but finding one these days may be a bit hard.
